ECnet Broadband "the best thing you never thought you needed"
What is it?
 The term "Broadband" is generally used to describe a permanent or "always on" Internet connection with ADSL being the most commonly used technology.
ADSL offers speeds from 512Kbps (10x faster than a standard modem) to 8MBps over existing analogue telephone lines. To enjoy the benefits of ADSL, you will need a BT telephone line and if possible be less than 3.5Km from an ADSL enabled exchange (see Broadband FAQ). To find out if your BT telephone line is suitable contact us and we'll check for you.
A range of other Broadband technologies including fixed wireless, advanced mobile communications and satellite are currently on trial to see if they can provide a solution for remote / rural locations. Meanwhile we offer fixed cost dial-up solutions as an alternative.
