EC CLOUD MAX MailProtection is a hosted email security and continuity solution that is compatible with any email system and can be implemented in just minutes. EC Cloud MAX MailProtection’s cutting edge technology ensures the optimal filtering of unwanted or harmful messages. At the same time, its customizable management interface and innovative features such as one-click whitelisting, ensure that the solution is both simple to deploy and hassle-free. The cost of this powerful layer of protection is priced at just cents per day based on the number of users, and includes spam filtering, protection against viruses, and a true email continuity service which acts as an ‘always available’ email backup solution.
EC CLOUD MAX MailProtection stops spam, viruses, and other email threats before they reach the network or mail server; incoming email is redirected to its fully redundant network and application architecture, which processes messages in real-time via both traditional spam filtering techniques and leading-edge approaches to message analysis including authenticity checks, message fingerprinting, heuristic rule sets, extensive URI databases, real-time message source analysis, and customizable whitelists and blacklists.

EC MAX MailEdge
is designed to be used in combination with an existing on-premise anti-spam/anti-virus solution, primarily EC-NET MailEssentials/EC-NET MailSecurity – although it can also be used as an add-on to any on-premise email security software or hardware product. EC-NET MAX MailEdge can block the most common types of spam before this junk mail reaches a customer’s network, thus reducing the bandwidth and processing power required for incoming email, and effectively increasing the capacity of the installed EC-NET MailEssentials/EC-NET MailSecurity software. Equally important, EC-NET MAX MailEdge provides email continuity, whereby the service will automatically queue any legitimate inbound email messages that cannot be delivered, and allow customers to access and respond to those messages when the customer’s email server is offline.
EC Cloud MAX MailProtection
is a fully-fledged anti-spam and anti-virus solution that requires no hardware, no software, and no maintenance on the customer’s part. As a Cloud-based service, MAX MailProtection can be deployed in a matter of minutes from any location, and can be offered as a stand-alone solution or as part of a premium hybrid solution with on premise EC Cloud MailSecurity software.
